GENERAL BODY MEETING
A monthly meeting designed to keep our members up-to-date on the Movement and provide personal and professional development. General Body Meetings (GBM) are usually held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
JOIN WEEK/JOIN WEEK REMIX
A dedicated week of increased awareness that seeks to actively engage our current members while attracting new young professionals to become leaders in their community. Join Week offers an intentional opportunity to be more impactful with activities that showcase leadership, learning, and serving.
Join Week Remix occurs during the summer and features our highly anticipated, YP Beach Day.
HOLIDAY PARTY
A night full of fellowship, dance and laughter, Richmond YP's annual holiday celebration is an event you don’t want to miss. This festive evening allows our members and guests to experience good entertainment, food, music and a number of interactive activities to keep you in a joyful spirit!
DAY ON THE HILL
The Urban League of Greater Richmond works diligently with sister Virginia chapters to provide an annual day of opportunity to our members which helps them and others meet our elected representatives. Building relationships is essential to the League's government affairs strategy.
Join us as we work to educate members and others on important state legislation and policy initiatives; provide guidance on our key issues, legislative strategy, and efforts; and offer opportunities to network with members, legislators, and staffers from across the state.
